This project started with an interest on mercury retrograde. As I developed my designs, I envisioned pieces that embraced vulnerability and resilience simultaneously. Each stitch, each cut, was a manifestation of the rollercoaster of emotions that one experiences during tumultuous times. The color palette transitioned from somber shades to vibrant bursts, signifying the shift from gloom to hope.

The collection is an interplay of contrast - light against dark, chaos juxtaposed with harmony. It aimed to capture the essence of transformation, reflecting the turmoil an subsequent renewal experienced during challenging phases. The fabrics I chose were eclectic yet harmonious, symbolizing the duality of emotions people endure in their personal retrogrades.
