I was introduced to knitting and crochet this semester, and fell in love with it immediately. It is so fun! Knitted garment are usually for winter time, so I wanted to try something different. I made a summer garment using yarn. I am such a summer girl, and I love the beach, sun, and the flowers, everything about summer attracts me so much. I focused on Positano, Italy for this piece, even though I have never been, but all those images I found are the definition of a perfect summer. The top is crochet, and the skirt is done in stockinette knit.
